Teaching In Action Visits
Who: Host school plus up to 15 teachers from other schools
Visit another school and see great teaching in action!
On Teaching in Action days one model classroom is chosen from the host school involved. On the TIA day teachers from different schools meet with the consultant to co-plan a lesson or mini-lesson on a particular day. The teachers then visit the TIA classroom to observe the lesson through a particular lens with support from the consultant. After the lesson the consultant facilitates a lesson debrief to allow teachers to reflect on teaching practices that supported student learning, review student work with a focus on learning and misconceptions, and plan next instructional steps.
